LEGO® City Drive-Through Car Wash (60497)

Product Description

Give LEGO® City vehicles a sparkling-clean makeover with the LEGO® City Drive-Through Car Wash building set! This interactive 583-piece playset lets young builders create their own bustling car wash, complete with two stylish toy cars, spinning wash brushes, a water-pellet dispenser, a vacuum station, and four fun minifigures.

Designed for children ages 6 and up, this imaginative building set combines creative construction with hands-on vehicle play. Drive the classic black-and-yellow muscle car or the sporty red convertible through the wash, activate the cleaning mechanisms, and finish the detailing at the vacuum station. With realistic features and fun accessories, there are plenty of ways to keep the LEGO City streets looking their best.

Drive In for a Sparkling-Clean Finish

The centerpiece of this set is a detailed drive-through car wash where kids can put their vehicles through a complete cleaning experience. Guide either included car into the wash and use the interactive mechanisms to bring the scene to life.

Release the water pellets from the dispenser and slide the rail to spin the wash brushes. Watch as the vehicles pass through the cleaning area, then move them over to the vacuum station for the finishing touches. These hands-on features make everyday city life exciting and encourage children to invent their own stories about customers, car care, and running a busy local business.

Two Cool Cars Included

The set features two distinctive buildable vehicles, each with room for a driver minifigure.

• Black-and-yellow muscle car: A bold, classic-style vehicle with sporty styling, perfect for cruising around LEGO City.
• Red convertible: A stylish open-top car ready for a trip through the wash and a fresh, clean finish.

Both cars can be driven through the car wash and used in imaginative city adventures long after the cleaning job is complete.

Meet the Car Wash Crew

Four LEGO minifigures bring the scene to life and provide plenty of opportunities for role-play.

• Car wash attendant: Operate the wash, help customers, and keep the cleaning station running smoothly.
• Sponge mascot: Add a playful touch to the business with a character dressed in a colorful sponge costume.
• Two customer minifigures: Take turns driving the included vehicles through the wash and enjoying the service.

The combination of workers, customers, and vehicles encourages children to explore everyday community interactions and create their own entertaining stories.

Realistic Details and Fun Accessories

Beyond the main car wash structure, the set includes small details that make pretend play even more engaging. A suitcase, sponge, and bucket help recreate the finishing touches of a car-cleaning service, while the vacuum station adds another stage to the experience.

Children can invent customer queues, run a busy weekend car wash, help the attendant complete each cleaning job, or send the cars back out onto the streets of LEGO City. The possibilities grow even further when this set is combined with other LEGO City vehicles, buildings, and road accessories, sold separately.
