Celestron 114LCM Computerized Telescope with Astronomy Software Download

Explore the wonders of the night sky with the Celestron 114LCM Computerized Telescope, a feature-packed telescope designed to make stargazing more accessible for beginners, families, and astronomy enthusiasts. Combining a 114mm Newtonian reflector, computerized object locating, and astronomy software, this telescope helps you discover celestial objects without having to navigate the sky entirely on your own.

From the Moon’s rugged craters to Jupiter’s bright moons, Saturn’s rings, star clusters, and distant nebulae, the 114LCM opens the door to a rewarding backyard astronomy experience. Its computerized mount can locate thousands of celestial objects, while Celestron’s SkyAlign technology simplifies setup by allowing alignment using three bright celestial objects.

The telescope’s 114mm aperture gathers light for observing a wide range of celestial targets. Its 1,000mm focal length provides a versatile optical system for exploring the Moon, planets, and selected deep-sky objects. The included 25mm and 9mm eyepieces offer two magnification options for different viewing situations.

The computerized NexStar hand control includes a celestial-object database and a Sky Tour feature that suggests objects currently visible in the sky. Combined with the included tripod and StarPointer red-dot finderscope, the 114LCM provides an approachable way to begin exploring astronomy.

What’s Included?

The standard Celestron 114LCM package includes:

• 1 Celestron 114LCM Newtonian reflector telescope — featuring a 114mm aperture and 1,000mm focal length.

• 1 computerized motorized altazimuth mount — moves the telescope to selected celestial targets and supports tracking.

• 1 NexStar computerized hand control — provides access to the telescope’s object database and navigation functions.

• 1 adjustable aluminum tripod — supports the telescope and mount.

• 1 tripod accessory tray — provides a convenient place for small observing accessories.

• 1 StarPointer red-dot finderscope — helps you aim the telescope toward objects in the sky.

• 1 25mm eyepiece — provides approximately 40× magnification.

• 1 9mm eyepiece — provides approximately 111× magnification.

• Astronomy software download — Celestron Starry Night software, subject to the software version and download terms supplied with the product.

• Access to the Celestron SkyPortal app — a free astronomy app with observing information and audio descriptions for supported devices.

• Setup documentation and instructions — for assembling, aligning, and operating the telescope.

Please note: The telescope requires power. Eight AA batteries or a compatible external power supply are needed; batteries are not included. The current standard specification lists two eyepieces, so older references to a five-piece eyepiece kit should not be assumed to apply to this package.
