Celestron PowerSeeker 50AZ Telescope – 50mm Beginner Refractor Telescope

Discover the wonders of the night sky with the Celestron 50AZ Telescope, an approachable starter telescope for curious beginners, families, and budding astronomers. Featuring a 50mm refractor optical system and a simple manual alt-azimuth mount, this telescope is designed to make exploring the Moon, bright planets, and other celestial sights an exciting hands-on experience.

The Celestron PowerSeeker 50AZ uses coated glass optics to gather light and bring distant objects into view. Its straightforward design makes it suitable for learning the basics of telescope setup, focusing, and locating objects in the sky. It can also be used for terrestrial viewing during the day, making it a versatile introduction to optical observation.

The manual mount moves up and down and from side to side, allowing you to point the telescope toward a target without a complicated computerized system. With multiple eyepieces and a Barlow lens, you can experiment with different magnifications to find a useful view for your observing conditions.

Whether you're planning a first backyard stargazing session, exploring lunar craters, or introducing a young astronomy enthusiast to the hobby, the Celestron PowerSeeker 50AZ offers a practical starting point for discovery.

What’s Included?

The standard Celestron PowerSeeker 50AZ (model 21039) package includes:
