Celestron PowerSeeker 114EQ Telescope – 114mm Newtonian Reflector

Explore the wonders of the universe with the Celestron PowerSeeker 114EQ Telescope, a versatile telescope designed for beginning astronomers who want to discover more of the night sky. With its generous 114mm aperture, manual German equatorial mount, and included observing accessories, this telescope provides an engaging introduction to astronomy for individuals and families.

The PowerSeeker 114EQ uses a Newtonian reflector optical design to gather light from distant celestial objects. Its 114mm primary mirror helps reveal details of the Moon, views of planets, bright star clusters, and selected deep-sky objects when viewing conditions are favorable.

The telescope features a 900mm focal length and a manual equatorial mount designed to help you follow celestial objects as they appear to move across the sky. Slow-motion controls allow fine adjustments along the mount’s right ascension and declination axes, while the adjustable tripod provides a convenient observing platform.

Two eyepieces and a 3× Barlow lens offer multiple magnification combinations, allowing you to experiment with different views. The included finderscope helps you locate objects before observing through the main telescope, and downloadable Starry Night Basic astronomy software introduces you to celestial objects and observing plans.

Whether you're beginning a backyard astronomy hobby, planning family stargazing sessions, or looking for a telescope that offers room to learn and explore, the Celestron PowerSeeker 114EQ is an inviting way to start your astronomical adventures.
